Thank you so much for joining The Sporty Dog family. In order to best serve your pets, we like to schedule a Meet & Greet before your first service. This gives us an opportunity to meet you and your pets and collect any pertinent information about your home, your pet's needs and any other special requests.
**COVID-19 Precautions at this time are being monitored as well as if you will be at home for dog walks or pet sits, we do not require an additional meet n greet beforehand as to limit our time and safety and will arrive at your house to go over your pet's needs before the walk or visit and if you can leash your pet and bring him to the door, we'd appreciate it.
However, we will still schedule a M+G right before your first visit for those who are working or traveling or won't be home at the time of the dog walk or pet visit. *All Sporty Dog Staff will be wearing masks and we ask you to as well at this time for everyone's safety and wellbeing. Please email if you have other questions regarding Covid-19 etc.
1. Please make sure to log in and complete all the tabs at the *top right hand of the portal with your information and please completely fill out your *Pet's info* in the tab at the top labeled *Pets so we can prepare how to meet each pet's individual needs or if there are any additional concerns to be addressed when we come out. *We ask that you record ALL specific Pet Instructions on your Pet's profile so that the Sporty Dog Staff will know the specifics and have written instructions as reminders when making the visits as well as keep everyone in the loop regarding your pet vs trying to tell the dog walker or pet sitter specific details in person.
2. You can also book the Meet N Greet or other services as well to let us know the dates and what type of service you need, such as Dog Walking or Pet Sitting etc. The portal will ask for a credit card to book all services but your card will not be charged at this time. However, we will send an invoice after the meet n greet to confirm services and payment is due on receipt/by the first visit in order to reserve a spot for your pets. We can also charge your card before the first visit as well if you prefer to not receive an invoice. For daily walks you can also book biweekly or monthly to reserve a spot for your pets on our schedule.
3. Please have a lockbox or other door code prepared when we come out. We prefer not to take copies of keys at this time and it's safest to secure your key on your property as well as in case we need a backup pet sitter to gain access to your pet. Let us know if you have any other questions regarding access for The Sporty Dog Staff. *Please add your lockbox code on your secure profile.
4. * New Clients: We will review your information and typically schedule a M+G right before you need pet services and within 5 days of requesting new services. *When we have all necessary information and you are ready to book services, login to the Client Portal or use the Time To Pet App to schedule your first M+G for Vacation Pet Services. We'd appreciate at least a weeks notice to come out or to meet your pets right before your departure so that way they will remember us when we stop by. We will get back to you within 24 hours or during office hours. Thank you.
