Thank you for creating an account with Hotel K Pet Sitting & Dog Walking! We are excited to help you get the best pet sitting experience. To help with this goal, we have some homework for you, please.
Your next step is to log in to your Time To Pet client portal or mobile app to complete your profile and pet information. Time to Pet will walk you through the onboarding process. Please be clear and detailed with feeding instructions, medication instructions, and behavioral questions.
Please ensure the following sections are thoroughly completed in your Time To Pet account:
Client Profile: Fill in all required contact information, including emergency contacts. (Someone in town, if possible) Also on this section you will find questions asking for house instructions. This is where you tell us where things are or where things go in your home in relation to pet setting. For example, the dog food is in the kitchen counter to the left of the stove or please place the used litter in the Litter Genie.
Pet Profiles: Create a profile for each pet, including details such as:
Breed, age, and weight.
Veterinary information including Rabies Certificate.
Feeding instructions and dietary restrictions.
Medication requirements (if applicable).
Personality quirks, fears, and favorite activities.
Add a photo.
Service Request: Once your profiles are complete, you may use the portal to request services. Here are some helpful tips.
Dog Walks are scheduled as a two hour arrival window. (IE: 11am to 1 pm). If you’re asking for regular scheduled visits, please include that in notes when requesting services.
Cat Sitting Visits are scheduled with arrival windows of 6-10 am, 10-4pm, and 4-8pm. We offer once per day visits, twice per day visits, Live In House Sitting for cats, or every other day visits.
Live In House Sitting When requesting Live-In we need to know a few key things in order to book your reservation.
What time will you leave your home on your first day of travel? This is so we know when to schedule the first visit of the reservation.
What time will you arrive home on your final day of travel? Our last visit will be scheduled 4-6 hours prior to your planned arrival. If your flight is delayed, let us know ASAP. We plan for delays!
If you are flying, what is your inbound flight information?
Will the pet sitter need extra visits with your dog to build trust? If so, we should do a meet and greet as soon as possible.
What is your availability for a meet and greet with your pet sitter?
After you make your service request, we will get to work to match you with an available pet sitter. Sometimes depending on scheduling, you may meet two pet sitters. Once we do, your request and meet and greet will be scheduled, along with the service agreement for the reservation for your review and approval.
