We only offer these services: cat care, cat grooming, weekday midday dog walks, and pocket pet care (hamsters, guinea pigs, etc.) - *we do not offer vacation care for dogs. Please write "I understand."

We require that cats and dogs be current on their rabies vaccination, with documentation on file, and other core vaccinations/preventatives as recommended by your veterinarian. Please write "I understand."

Your New Client Request has been received and is currently being reviewed. We will carefully review the information you provided and follow up with you regarding the next steps.

Please keep an eye on your email (including your spam or junk folder, just in case) and phone for our response within 24 hours during office hours.

Office Hours:
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

If your request was submitted outside of these hours, on a holiday, or on a scheduled day off, we will follow up on the next business day.

If you requested a call back, we will reach out by phone and leave a voicemail if we are unable to connect. We may also follow up by email, and you are welcome to return our call or reply to our message so we can continue the conversation and determine the best next steps for your pet care needs.

To help ensure a smooth onboarding process, please note:

• If you requested a call or additional follow-up, prompt communication after our initial outreach helps keep the process moving forward. If we do not hear back from you within 48 hours of our outreach, your request may be placed on hold until we hear from you.

• In some cases, requests may be approved and moved into active status even if we have not connected by phone, so please watch for additional instructions sent by email.

• If we determine that Kat and Dogs Ohio is a good fit for your needs, you will receive instructions to activate your client account and complete your household and pet profiles. This step is required before scheduling your Initial Consultation & Behavioral Assessment.

• Moving forward with services is dependent on your account being fully completed. Having accurate and complete information allows us to properly prepare and provide the safest, most personalized care for your pets.

Health Requirements:
All cats and dogs must be current on rabies and core vaccinations, with documentation uploaded to their profile. Pocket pets and birds will need to have a health certificate on file. If needed, your veterinarian can provide these records.

If we determine that we are not the right fit for your pet care needs, your request may be respectfully declined. We truly appreciate the opportunity to connect and learn more about you and your pets.
