Welcome to the pack!
We'd love to hear more about your family! Our software, Time to Pet, has a designated spot for each member of your pack, under 'Pets' in your own client portal! You'll be able to add detailed info for everyone, and any additional notes that will help us take the best care of your babies and home.
Once you have your personal and pet info filled out, it's time to schedule a meet and greet!
What's a meet and greet? We meet each and every one of our clients and their pets, during an initial consultation called the meet-and-greet. This is at your home, so you'll be able to explain your routine, and go over the information that you added to your client and pet profiles. We'll answer questions about our services, ask you questions about how we can best take care of your pets, and set up a lockbox for your home (if necessary).

Pet Pals KC Paw-licies and Purrr-cedures:
Meet and Greets are Required before Services can be Completed. You can schedule online on your Time to Pet portal. A Pet Pal will meet at your place, so we can get the layout and go over our services. You can expect the meet and greet to last between 15-30 minutes.
Contact: We require all communication to come through Time to Pet. We would love to chat on the phone with you (816-447-5219) but also need a written receipt on Time to Pet for organization purposes. For safety reasons, we do not give out walker or client phone numbers.
Schedule Blocks: We schedule our walkers and sitters based on location and time! Your Pal will arrive in the time block that you select when scheduling on Time to Pet. If you have a specific time in mind, we can accommodate that, too! Just add the proposed time to the notes for the day when scheduling.
Same-Day Scheduling Policies: Pet Pals charges $8 additional for visits scheduled on the day of the event, or past 6pm the previous day.
Cancellation Policies: Pet Pals charges a flat $8 for each visit canceled on the day of the event.
Keys: Pet Pals KC will issue you a lockbox to put around your home. If you live in an apartment or condo, we will need your management to know that we have access to your unit; we may already have a fob or key for your building and can discuss your situation at the meet and greet.
Holidays: Our holiday fee is $10 / visit, or $30 / day on the day of the holiday. The holiday fee goes straight to your walker / sitter. Holidays we honor are New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Walking: Time to Pet makes scheduling online a breeze. Payment for walks is due on Friday after the walks have been completed. There is an option to tip on your invoices; it is not necessary but if you feel that your walker has gone above and beyond, go for it!
Sitting: We understand that every home is different when it comes to routine and care for your pet. When scheduling your overnight, we like to know what time you leave your home and when you return home, so we can plan our walks accordingly. The more details you can put in your Time to Pet profile, the better we can accommodate your needs. We offer check-ins throughout the day (minimum 3 visits) as well as overnight sitting in your home and in our homes. When you book your trip, book your sitter! There is no date too early and we’d love to get you on the schedule. The invoice for your trip will be sent in advance, so you can confirm the dates and times that Pet Pals is coming. Payment is not due until after you return home.
Payment: You can pay directly through the Time to Pet portal, on your phone or on the desktop. You can also pay via Paypal (petpalskcinvoicing@gmail.com) or Venmo (@Harper-Page).
