Please complete your Client and Pet Profiles. To start service, you have three options:
1) Use the 'Schedule' tab to set up your first visit. Please message us with any instructions. This option is only available for friendly dogs that are comfortable with meeting new people alone.
2) Via the 'Schedule' tab, set up a free Virtual Consultation in a timeframe convenient for you. Please feel free to request an exact time in the 'Additional Details' box. We'll chat via Google Meet. This option is only available for friendly dogs that are comfortable with meeting new people alone.
3) Via the 'Schedule' tab, set up a free In-Person Consultation in a timeframe convenient for you. We're flexible 8am - 8pm. This is the only option for dogs needing introductions to new people or with any behavior issues. We are happy to work with all dogs from all backgrounds and this gives us a chance to do a full assessment and offer our best service to you.
To schedule service, you will need to add your payment information. We cannot see or access this information. It's kept confidential and our secure processing service, WePay, holds your account. Invoices are sent five days before your first service and charged the day before.
Recurring walks will be added to your calendar after our initial consultation. If you're scheduling occasional walks, please do so via your 'Schedule' tab in your app or browser. Your calendar is available 24/7. If a service is not on your calendar or pending, we are not yet scheduled to visit. Requests and changes are processed by 10AM the following business day. Cancellations are immediate when you click submit. If you don't hear from us, please feel free to send us a message to ensure your request was received.

RunMyDog Important Policies
We offer these policies so we can provide the best service and keep your dog as safe as possible.
•Cancellation Policy: Visits cancelled the same day of service incur a fee of 50% of the service.
•Use your client account to change or cancel services.
•If you don't receive a confirmation to your schedule change by 10:00am the next business day, please text us to make sure we received your request.
•We cancel regular midday walks for all Federal Holidays and when OPM announces the government closed for weather.
•If you need a walk on a Federal Holiday, please use your client portal to schedule service. All Federal Holidays incur a $10 fee.
Invoices are charged the day before the first service.
•To tip your walker, add a tip to your invoice before paying, or, message us a regular amount or percentage to automatically add to every invoice.
•Visits begin as we leave our car and walk to your residence.
•Staff will review your pet care notes before starting service.
•Not having access to the door, needing to wait for a concierge, taking an elevator or stairs, or far parking, could shorten time outside.
•We require at least a 30 minute visit for buildings where keys need to be picked up at the front desk.
•We do everything we can to move efficiently to give your pet the most attention and time outside possible.
•For safety, your dog’s collar or harness must not slip off when pulled.
•We will make sure your dog’s collar/harness is tight and cannot slip over their head or shoulders.
•We highly recommend using a Martingale collar.
•The walker is not allowed to walk a dog with a retractable leash.
•When we’re walking, your dog must have ID tags.
•Your walker will send you a map and visit report via your client account and email each visit.
•You will receive a copy in your email and in your account.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: For everyone’s safety, we will follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing.
•Walkers will wear masks when entering your home.
•Please have dogs close to the front door to limit staff time inside.
•Staff will arrive close to the time on your schedule. Traffic, weather, and just the nature of working with animals often delays us.
•We will use our own leash when possible.
•Have collar or harness on your dog or close to the front door. We will use our martingale collar if yours is not available.
We work as a team and switch walkers as necessary.
•We are doing everything possible to limit the number of staff attending your pet.
•All of our walkers submit to a Social Security check, seven year background check and a third party review of six professional references.
•Our staff receives extensive training in dog care and behavior. You will receive the same service with all our team members and we monitor all visits.
•We welcome your questions and concerns about any staff person that visits your home.
