We are very excited to announce that we are now offering yet another way to backup your Time To Pet data.

We are big believers in data transparency at Time To Pet and we want to make sure you always have access to your data no matter what. That is why we offer full exports of your Client/Pet data, 3rd Party Calendar Integrations, Daily Schedule Emails, access to a full backup server and now Dropbox integration!

When you connect your Dropbox account with Time To Pet we will backup your Client, Pet and Schedule data nightly to the Apps/Time To Pet folder in your Dropbox account.

To get started visit your Backup Settings.

I don’t have a Dropbox account? How do I get started?

You can create a free Dropbox account at https://www.dropbox.com. Once you have a Dropbox account visit https://timetopet.com/dashboard/configure/backup and click “Connect To Dropbox” to get started.

What information is included in the backup?

The nightly backup will create a new folder for each day and within this folder you will find clients.csv, pets.csv and schedule.csv.

clients.csv — A full list of your clients and all of their field information.

pets.csv — A full list of all of your client’s pets and their field information.

schedule.csv — A spreadsheet of 7 days of scheduled events including the current day.

Where in my Dropbox account is the data located?

When you connect Dropbox to Time To Pet a new folder will be created in your Dropbox folder: Apps/Time To Pet.

Every night when your backup is generated a new folder will be created with the name “TTP-Year-Month-Day”, for example for the backup on April 1st you will find your data in Apps/Time To Pet/TTP-2016–04–01.
